China is one of the biggest countries in the world, and its big population has become an increasing economic problem.

Apparently, their natural resources are slowly running out, and cannot fully feed the entire nation. This is the reason why they create fake food.

To spot a fake eggs is hard from the real because they look very much like the same.

They are made very cheaply with gelatin, artificial food coloring, water, and a wax shell. The yolks are bounceable when dropped.

Take a look at their shape. Fake eggs are too perfectly shaped but they are rounder and larger than real ones.

They have an unnatural unblemished shells. Their shell is much shinier than real eggs.

Eggs do not smell of anything when broken unlike real eggs that have this weird smell.

The yolk of the fake egg is more yellow and had no sign of the β€œchalaze”, which is the white string that holds the yolk.

Fake rice

Rice is very popular in China. Fake rice has been manufactured inShaanxi province, China.

It appears and smells like the real one. On average one person consumes one pound of rice per day.

This rice is a mixture of potatoes, sweet potatoes and plastic.

This ‘plastic rice’ is made by forming potatoes and sweet potatoes into rice-like shape, then adding industrial synthetic resins.

To spot fake rice, take a glass of water. Drop a tablespoon of rice inside and stir it.

If the rice is floating then it is plastic rice because real rice don’t float in the water.

Exploding watermelons

Watermelons exploded like mines in China. The explosion occured after farmer in applied forchlorfenuron, a growth accelerator.

It is legal chemical which stimulates cell separation but often leaves melons misshapen and turns the seeds white.

The reason watermelons have exploded, was because the farmers sprayed the fruit too late in the season,when it was raining.

It caused the melons to explode like mines. They have lost 45 hectares.The fruit could not be sold and was instead fed to fish and pigs.

Farmers claim forchlorfenuron can bring the harvest forward by two weeks and increase the size and price of the fruit by more than 20%.

Agricultural experts say forchlorfenuron has been widely used in China since the 1980s.
