How To Get Rid Of Split Ends. Say Good Bye To Them Forever

Women who have long hair, are likely to have split ends. It looks unattractive and you try to trim them, but it doesn’t help.

There are hundreds of products on the market which claim to be able to fix split ends, but it doesn’t. People spend a lot of money buying new products they saw on ads, but it’s not working.

Nutrients that nourishes eyelashes

Nutrients that we get from products we consume build the proteins that make up your hair strands. They are folic acid and biotin. These nutrients supply your eyelashes with length, and thickness. Folic acid helps the production of red blood cells, which powers the growth of hair. Foods rich in folic acid include green leafy veggies, oranges, soybeans. Biotin strengthens both hair and nails through its metabolism of fats, carbs and proteins. Foods rich in biotin are rice, parsley, peas, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, walnuts and peanuts.

There are a few options that you can do to prevent them from appearing and to keep it strong, healthy and looking beautiful.

What are split ends?

Split ends are the result of damage to your hair. This damage can come from weather conditions, excessive heating of your hair when drying with dryer, using constantly curling or straightening iron, harsh chemicals, washing your hair too often and brushing it too forcefully or when it is wet.

Split ends can occur in various patterns. Often you will notice a strand of hair that looks like a fork at the end, leaving 2 or 3 tips at the end of one strand. Sometimes one of the tips may split again, looking like a tree branch. Occasionally a hair will split in the middle of the strand, rather than at the end, because the weaker part of the hair occurs higher up.

Tips To Prevent Hair Split Ends

Wet hair is particularly vulnerable to damage. It is much more fragile when it’s wet then when it is dry. and therefore susceptible to damage. Using a hairbrush on wet hair can cause split ends and weakening of the hair.

Never use a curling or a straightening iron on wet hair as this can damage the strands and cause more problems.

Take care also when tying your hair back when it is wet. As it dries, it will shrink, so it if you tie too tightly when it is wet then you can damage it.

Don’t Wash Your Hair Too Often

Shampoos are often very drying for your hair. In particular, products which are for oily hair and even regular shampoos can strip the natural oils that your hair produces. People actually wash their hair every day, so give your hair a chance to get the benefit from natural oils. Don’t wash it too often. Extend the gap between washes.

Deep Conditioning

Shampooing your hair washes off its natural oil. You don’t want greasy hair that looks unattractive, but you also don’t want split hair that are more prone to splitting. Deep conditioners are not the same as the regular conditioner that you massage after your shampoo.

Avocado mask.

Mix in a bowl the avocado, egg whites and olive oil. When the mixture becomes creamy apply it all over the hair. Cover with a shower cap and leave for 20 minutes then wash hair with a shampoo and don’t forget to use conditioner. Avocados are full of vitamins and other nutrients that repair the hair cuticle, while olive oil repairs damaged hair. And finally egg whites are added to the mixture because they make a wonderful treatment for split ends.

The most important thing is to pay attention to the health of your hair and give it nourishment and care! Spend 10 to 15 minutes a day caring for hair, by looking after them when showering or brushing and you will eliminate those split ends! Having beautiful hair, long eyelashes and flawless skin will make you feel confident.
